THANK YOU NOTES

Your biggest responsibility after getting any gift is to send a thank you note as soon as possible. Phoning, thanking the gift giver in person or even e-mailing your thanks is not the proper way to thank someone. A wedding is a more formal event than everyday life, and the social conventions are also more formal. The person who gave you the gift took the time and cared enough to send you something. You need to return the favor by showing them you appreciate their thoughtfulness.

Our service starts with a handwritten, personalized thank you note, either in your card or ours. When you contract Thanks a Million, we will send you a log to help you keep track of your gifts. Ask a family member or trusted friend to help keep track of the gifts you receive at your showers or reception using our handy log. After the event, return it to us and we will do the rest. Each note features a handwritten, legible acknowledgement addressed to family and friends, by the name you call them, mentions the gift they gave you, and is signed the way you would if you wrote the note yourself. Our writers use templates to help them vary the messages so not everybody on your list gets the same message.

After the notes are written, we hand address the envelopes, add your return address and a stamp. We ship the unsealed notes back to you so you can inspect them. All you have to do is seal them and drop them off at your local post office. Your recipients will think you wrote the cards yourself.
